One of our customers called Jeremy last week with a problem she needed a solution for. She had a problem with her roof that was getting worse, she knew it needed to be repaired and wanted to know if I knew someone who I trusted to fix it. She is pretty tech savvy so she sent a picture of the problem while we talked. She had a picture on her phone already and it was sent. I attached the picture here.
After a review of the problem I had a name for her. The name I gave her was Rafael, he was standing about 7 feet from me, Rafael was wearing a Top Rank Home Services shirt so I showed him the picture. He had a good idea what caused the issue and knew without question he could repair it. By the end of the next day it was repaired, the cause located and removed! It seems with the type of roof this lady has it’s common for birds build nests in there and that creates damage. Before he removed and repaired the piece he was able to determine the nest was not active so no animals were harmed in the repair of the roof!
This is part of what I love about being able to operate in the Home Services area. We still have HVAC as our primary business but homes are complex and constantly in need of some sort of repair. Some of those repairs our homeowner can do and others are best left to the professionals. Roof repair is best left to a pro! The birds will find a new place to build their next nest and Kathy will be dry this winter!
