U-Haul recently named the Sacramento Region in the top 10 of all moving destinations and called our little slice of heaven a “rising star” among cities in the United States. U-Haul is able to make this pronouncement based on their rentals and where people are moving to and from. The reality is that their numbers tend to agree with some of the larger moving companies as well.
It seems that in 2013 our region was lucky #13 nationally and even the Mayor of Sacramento said he was please3d but not surprised by the results. With our economy finally starting to show signs of life along with our recent job growth there are reasons to be excited. Further reasons for the excitement are the relatively low prices for homes and recent development which can be witnessed in almost every area of Elk Grove, Galt and Lodi. U-Haul will be updating their most current list of 10 10 destinations and we also know that Kansas City is number 9 and Philadelphia is number 8.
The part that the article left out pertains to any of us that already live here and have homes.
